Powell, LLC specializes in delivering value-added products and services that meet performance criteria specified by its customers. Powell is a leading supplier of non-woven polyester mats for the U.S. electrical industry. We provide reinforcing substrates for pressure sensitive tapes, mica tapes and a full range of high performance insulation materials.

With state-of-the art equipment and highly experienced operators, Powell produces dry-laid, thermal bonded non-woven polyester mats in widths up to 84" and thicknesses from 0.0008" to 0.0075"

Non-woven, semi-porous, polyester mat with a calendered finish, white in color. Supplied up to 2 meters in width, on 3" ID paper tube cores.

Weight is measured by cutting an 18" x 36" piece and weighing on an Ohaus digital scale.

Thickness is the average of 10 readings across the width using a TMI motorized gauge with a 1/4" anvil.

Tensile Strength is measured on a Tinuis Olson tensile tester using a 1" x 6" specimen, gauge length 3", speed 12"/min.
